Lviv has a huge cultural and tourist potential. The old part of the city has got the status of the international significance monument and has entered on a list of the world cultural heritage of UNESCO in 1998. In addition to consummate samples of cultural monuments of different styles, there are many cultural institutions, organizations and enterprises, which create the cultural face of our city. Institutions which work in the sphere of culture and tourism very often are left without attention because of the lack or no information about them in the media or internet.
The existence of accessible and opportune information will lead to the successful and effective advancement of any kind of product on the market in the modern conditions. In most cases the cultural institutions and their activity is left without attention because of the absence of the developed informational policy and media support. For instance, only 5 of approximately 40 museums existing in Lviv have their own home pages. This obviously does not facilitate to create for Lviv the image of cultural center among other countries. Our aim is to transform Lviv into:
· Cultural center with the developed network of cultural establishments and institutions, with rich traditions of festivals; the city should be a producer of culture itself, not only a system of monuments.
· Cultural area with the place for artists of any styles and directions.
· The main aim of our internet page is to create the resources for consumers and producers of the cultura lproduct and also for people who are working in sphere of culture and tourism to find the following type of information:

That will attract sponsors’ and patrons’ support. Beside that, this cultural resource will help the cultural institutions, organizations, artists, individuals of the enterprises in the sphereofcultureandtourism to organize the effective relations, to search for partners (foreign partners including) and to present themselves and their ideas more effective.
